CPS Watch List
Stolen Children by CPS is committed to protecting families and preventing unnecessary involvement with Child Protective Services. Our mission is to help families stay together and stay informed when navigating hospitals, schools, and public systems.

After giving birth, if a nurse asks whether you need a social worker, you have the right to say no. Declining that assistance can help prevent unnecessary CPS involvement.

CPS often targets families who receive public benefits such as food stamps, Medicaid, cash aid, college financial aid, daycare assistance, and rental assistance. Do not ask for help with rent. These programs are meant to support you, but they can also trigger investigations or referrals to social workers, putting your family at risk.

Stay alert. Know your rights. Be cautious when accepting any form of assistance, and consult legal or advocacy support before engaging with social workers.
